A premium designed and engineered gate with advanced technology, the Numi Wood/Aluminum Safety Gate is in a whole different class of child safety gates. Simply put, it looks too sophisticated to be a baby gate, yet is simple to install and use. It is a hardware mounted safety gate which can be used for stairs, doorways or between rooms. Push the gate closed and it will self lock securely. The integrated handle has a one handed, two-step unlocking push button mechanism, which is easy for adults to use but difficult for children. The gate slides into two tracks on either side which are positioned towards the top 2/3rds of the gate. There is no need to worry about screwing into baseboard moldings or the uneven surface they create. This safety gate adjusts for a perfect vertical fit even if your walls are not level. The gate has a patented width adjustment system with pre-set positions that let you quickly and easily adjust it for the width you need. The special safety hinge protects against finger pinching. The quick release wall mount lets you easily remove the gate. Measures 30 1/2"H and fits openings 26" to 40" W. Made of dark stained wood with aluminum frame. This Retractable Baby Safety Gate helps keep your baby safe and comes with two sets of mounting fixtures which allow you to easily move the gate between two different locations.

This very versatile hardware mounted gate can go straight across or in places where a gate might have to be mounted at an angle (up to 30 degrees) on both sides. A unique operating mechanism, (see picture in Attachment file below) has a simple one-handed opening operation and drop into place self- locking action to close. It is basic for adults to use but remains a challenge for an older sibling.  For those who are less handy, the Stairway Special is easier to install. It comes assembled in contrast to other top of the stair gates which need assembly before starting to install. The mounting fixtures require 2 holes per side,which is less than normal 4 for other gates. Because this hardware is placed 5 inches up from floor and above most baseboard moldings, there is not need to work around their uneven surface.  It also is helpful in homes where there are half walls and limited height to screw in the fixtures. The height of the fixtures of this gate is 29 inches. This gate has an optional safety bracket to prevent the gate from opening over the stairway. Powder coated aluminum frame, allows for use outdoors. Stainless hardware, not included can be purchased for outdoor installation, see ACCESSORIES below. Can be quickly removed. The Hide-Away Gate is designed to provide safety when you need it and "disappear" when you don't. This protective mesh barrier has no footholds for climbing, a two-step locking mechanism which is easy for adults but too difficult for children. For between rooms and bottom of stair use only. This gate is not recommended for top of stairs. Fits openings up to 42" W.

This gate has kid-tough clear panels that are free of footholds to prevent toddlers from climbing the gate. The two, double-thick panels also provide a clear, unobstructed view for toddlers while blending in with your home furnishings. This gate can be hardware or pressure mounted and is opened and closed with one hand.    27.5" to 42.5"W x 30" H

Pressure gate which can convert to a mounted gate. Comes with mounting sockets which can be stuck or screwed in place on either side to give greater security. As a pressure gate, works best where walls are even with no mouldings. Opening mechanism is midway down the side of the gate and needs two hands to open. Better thought of for use where you might be blocking off an area not frequently used. Not recommended for tops of stairs in pressure mount version.

It's easy on the eye, easy to use and install. Made of an aluminum frame, with inner hard clear plastic, it prevents children from trying to climb the gate and sticking their arms or legs through. Optional stop bracket does not allow the gate to swing out over the stairs. 12" extension available to fit openings up to 53.5 inches. Choose white or black framing.
